About
Sampson Christopher Karailanidis was born in Thessaloniki, Macedonia, Greece. He is currently a fourth year undergraduate student at Electrical and Computer Engineering Department at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece. During the period from 2006 to 2007 he was an undergraduate student at Production Engineering and Management Department at the Democritus University of Thrace, Greece.
His academic interests lie in the field of communications and information theory under the supervision of the Associate Professor George K. Karagiannidis and the members of the Wireless Communications Systems Group (WCSG).
Since September 2009, he is chairman of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki IEEE Student Branch. Also, he was volunteer at IAESTE Thessaloniki Local Committee, rower at the Hellenic Rowing Team and the Sailing Club of Thessaloniki.
